The Parish Council is pleased to announce that the defibrillator kindly given to the Parish by a member of the community has now been installed in its own cabinet which can be found to the left of the main door to the Village Hall.
The training session on basic first aid and how to use the AED which was arranged for Saturday 22 September in the Village Hall at 10am was cancelled due to insufficient interest.
It is now on the Save-a-life App.
The Parish Council hopes to be able to run a training session shortly, but in the meantime, information about how to use it is available here: Public Access Defibrillator handout.
It can only be accessed via a code which the 999 operators have and it cannot be used if the patient has a heartbeat. If you ever need to use it, you will be directed by the Ambulance Operator.
